Rotary Club of Rosemount gathers to wrap up gifts and a fabulous year of service

With snowflakes gently falling from the sky and the soft glow of holiday lights all around, the Rotary Club of Rosemount gathered in the home of Todd and Lisa Lusk on Thursday, Dec. 8, to wrap packages for Armful of Love, celebrate the work of Rotary and get in the holiday spirit.

Filled with merriment, nearly every active Rosemount turned out to help wrap 21 gifts and enjoy a smorgasbord of food and treats.

Laura Briggs reports the anonymous family Rotary Club of Rosemount provided gifts to through 360 Communities’ Armful of Love program included a 14-year-old boy who received clothing, an alarm clock and watch; a 13-year-old girl who received clothing, earrings and the Twilight DVD; a 10-year-old boy who received clothing, Legos and a DVD; a 7-year-old girl who received clothing, brush, comb and books; a 3-year-old boy who received clothing, a Woody action figure and Toy Story book; and their mother, who received a crockpot and Cub Foods gift card.

Special thanks to all who attended, and merry holidays to all, and to all a blessed 2012!
