May 2011 Student of the Month

The Rotary Club of Rosemount recognized Rosemount High School senior Brandon Brist as its Service Above Self Student of the Month for May. Brandon, the son of Heidi and Skip Brist, is a member of the student council, site council and youth ambassadors at Rosemount High School. He was also the first chairman of the city of Rosemount's youth commission. Brandon is a small group youth leader at Rosemount United Methodist Church.

Brandon plans to attend St. John's University next year. He plans to study political science with a double minor in Spanish and Latin American studies. He is considering prelaw and would like to become a politician or work for a government agency.
