Rosemount Rotarian Jim Friend is a vice president business banker at Anchor Bank in Apple Valley, Minn., who has spent his entire 30+-year career working in the banking industry.

 

As a member of the Rosemount Rotary, Jim gets the most enjoyment of serving as a mentor in the STRIVE program and doing anything that allows him to give back to the community. This isn’t surprising considering that in addition to his Rotary membership, Jim is also involved with Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Scouting, the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association and St. Joseph Church in Rosemount.

 

In his free time, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, his two adult sons and their spouses, as well as his two grandchildren. He is also an avid outdoorsman who loves fishing and hunting.
