The Loehrs have taken rigorous academic schedules, taking AP (Advanced Placement) and CIS (College in the Schools) classes.  Luke is in AP Psychology, while both brothers are in AP Literature and Composition, as well as AP BC Calculus.  Both are also in CIS French V.

Both have also participated in a mentoring class, Luke with PR firm Goff Public and Alec with HealthPartners in the area of physical therapy.

The Loehrs are very involved at RHS.  They are co-captains of the RHS Varsity Boys Basketball team, members of the National Honor Society, members of the National French Honor Society, and members of RHS Student Council, for which Alec serves as Secretary and Luke serves as Public Relations officer. Alec and Luke were part of the committee of students who organized the homecoming dance, which saw record attendance.

In their spare time, the Loehrs enjoy playing basketball, music, being with friends and family.  After high school, the Loehrs plan to attend the United States Naval Academy, where they will play Division 1 NCAA Basketball.
