October 2015 Student of the Month: Michael St.Ores

The Rotary Club of Rosemount is pleased to announce that Rosemount High School senior Michael St.Ores is its October 2015 Student of the Month.
The Rotary Club of Rosemount is pleased to announce that Rosemount High School senior Michael St.Ores is its October 2015 Student of the Month.
During high school, Michael St.Ores has frequently been selected by his peers to serve in a variety of leadership roles. He is a member of Student Council and serves as section leader and drum major for the RHS Marching Band. He was also selected by his peers as Homecoming King this fall.
St.Ores has also excelled academically. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Tri-M Honor Society, for which he also serves as an officer.
Music has also played a major role in St.Ores’ education. He is a member of Concert Choir and Men’s Ensemble choir. He is also plays the trumpet in Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Pit Orchestra. He also played the trumpet in the 2015-2016 All-State Concert Band. He is also a regular participant in RHS’s musicals and OnStage productions.
Through his volunteer work, St.Ores has served throughout the Rosemount community, including at the Rosemount Family Resource Center, which receives some of its support from the Rosemount Rotary Club.
