April 2011 Student of the Month

The Rotary Club of Rosemount recognized Rosemount High School senior Hannah O'Donnell last week as its Service Above Self Student of the Month for April.

Hannah, the daughter of Lori and Dennis O'Donnell, has a 4.0 grade point average and is one of five valedictorians for the senior class. She is a National Merit Commended Scholar and has played sports including golf, track, soccer and lacrosse at RHS. She has been a student ambassador at the school and is a member of the National Honor Society and of the French and Spanish National Honor Societies.

Hannah is a member of the Group of Active Teens volunteer organization at RHS. She has been a Spanish tutor and has volunteered in the nursery at her church.

Hannah plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison next year to study Spanish and possibly journalism.
