Today we heard from the Executive Director of Haiti Outreach, Ceallaigh Smart. Haiti Outreach was established in 1997 and its Vision is for Haiti to have sufficient clean water, food, shelter, sanitation, medical care and educational/economic opportunities. I think that encompasses 6 of Rotary's 7 focus areas. It was a wonderful presentation and we learned quickly that with Haiti Outreach's model, they are empowering the Haiti people with the tools to develop their country.
