Today, we heard from John Huot. John represents Rosemount and the surrounding area in the State House of Representatives. John just finished his first term. John's past experience has been with Life Link and Fairview Health Services as an EMT. He currently is a business consultant as well as a Realtor.
One of John's biggest frustration was that the Bonding Bill did not pass. He is optimistic that the Legislature will meet in the next 30 days to get that done.
One of John's joyous accomplishments was working with the Mayor and City of Rosemount on 2 projects...one involved the current downtown project (hazardous waste clean up) and the second was a surprise to some of us...Broadband funds so that all areas of Rosemount could be connected....evidently NE area of Hwy 3 & McAndrews is a dead spot.....this was a concern for distant learning with the homes in that area.
