The Rotary Club of Rosemount is pleased to announce that Rosemount High School senior Elizabeth Pascuzzi is its March Student of the Month.

The Rotary Student of the Month Program is sponsored by Dakota County Technical College and Inver Hills Community College.

The March Student of the Month is actively involved in Chinese language studies and serves as Co-President of the National Chinese Honors Society. Through these activities, Pascuzzi spends a significant amount of time helping children with Chinese language immersion.  She also volunteers in the Chinese community in the Twin Cities as part of her commitment to the Chinese culture and language.

Pascuzzi has volunteered in a variety of different areas during high school.  As the elected Secretary of the Student Council, Pascuzzi has lead student efforts to provide toys for low income children and food for Minnesota’s homeless population.

Pascuzzi also works outside of school, and her employers have entrusted her with significant levels of responsibility. At a Boy Scout Camp, she played a major role in planning many of the summer camp’s activities.

When she is not at school or work, Pascuzzi enjoys reading, camping and being with friends.

Pascuzzi plans to attend Arizona State University in the fall.  She plans to study business management with an influence in Chinese.

Each month during the school year Rosemount Rotary recognizes a student who exemplifies Rotary International’s motto, Service Above Self. The club meets for lunch at noon Fridays at Fireside Restaurant. Guests are welcome.
