Rosemount High School (RHS) senior Adam Jackson, son of Joel and Nicki Jackson, is Rotary Club of Rosemount’s March Student of the Month.

Adam is perhaps most known for being a star wrestler at RHS. He was runner-up at state in the 152-pound weight class the last two years, named to The Guillotine’s Academic First Team, received a number of honors from his team – including MVP two years in a row – and will wrestle at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) next year.

Adam was nominated to the USAFA by Congressman John Kline and was very deliberate in making his choice. He attended a leadership camp at West Point Academy after his junior year, but realized USAFA was a better fit for him after visiting both.

In addition to his impressive athletic credentials, Adam is a 4.0 student, is ranked first in his class, is a National Honor Society member, a Spanish Honor Society member, and serves as Student Council secretary. Adam also strives to give back to his community as much as he can. He has worked as a tutor, organized and participated in a number of blood drives, volunteered at Lewis House in Eagan and has participated on mission trips with the Church of St. Joseph.

Perhaps Adam’s most notable achievement, though, is his reputation. His parents, coaches, teachers and friends all comment on the incredible work ethic, drive and character of this young man.

Rotary Club of Rosemount congratulates Adam and wishes him well in his future.
