October 2010 Student of the Month

The Rotary Club of Rosemount recognized Rosemount High School senior Alex Pham Oct. 16 as its Service Above Self Student of the Month for October.

Alex is the son of Linh and Kathy Pham. He is ranked sixth in the senior class at RHS.

Alex is active in the Vietnamese Student Association at the University of Minnesota and as a counselor at Rosemount High School's Vocal Motion camp.

He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Tri-M Honor Society. He is also an active member of the Rosemount High School Modern Company, a troupe of advanced dancers. He recently received the National Council of Teachers of English certificate for superior writing.

Alex hopes to study physical therapy and dance next year at the University of Minnesota.
